The KJV with a Fresh Design

Back in 2006 I started formatting the Bible for my personal study as a preacher. 15+ years and 20,000 hours later it developed into FreshLook Bible – a resource that thousands of people around the world are now using for enjoyable Bible reading, efficient study, and enhanced teaching.

It's all about displaying the beauty and structure of Scripture with Fresh Layout, Color & Format.

Fresh Layout

We've gone through every book, every passage, and obsessed over the question, "What should it look like according to its content in context?" (Lists, genealogies, poetry, dialogue, letters, law etc.)

The Bible is not hard to read! – when the text is shaped to its content.

Fresh Format

Obsessed with context, generic section headers were never enough for me. I needed to see the big picture and understand how the whole book fit together from the micro to the macro. We developed color coded Outline Bars and Bible Panoramas to show how each book flows in its natural, literary outline.

Books aren't too complex! – when the connections are laid out visually.

Bible Maps

We were commissioned to apply our FreshLook design skills to Bible Maps. The results will have a huge impact not just for him– but for anyone who uses them to study and teach through the Bible. We found the best way to display Bible places for use across the Old & New Testaments. We also came up with a unique 701 Place A-Z Index Grid System among other innovative features.
